Bijlmermeer E-neighbourhood with the Geldershoofd and Gravestein flats
Amsterdam Bijlmermeer, the new and the old Bijlmermeer, the E-neighbourhood with the Emerald housing estate and the Geldershoofd and Gravestein flats. After the Bijlmer disaster in 1992, the high-rise buildings of Bijlmermeer were largely demolished and replaced by single-family dwellings; only a few of the flats survived this renewal.
