Amsterdam, the Vondelkerk on Vondelstraat was designed by architect P.J.H. Cuypers, the church was inaugurated in June 1880. In the early 2000s work restored the dilapidated church under the direction of architect André van Stigt and is now in use as a multifunctional building for musical performances, among other things.
