The tidal inlet between Texel and Vlieland. The Engelschmangat or Eierlandsegat is the tidal inlet between Vlieland and Texel. It is about 2 kilometers wide at its narrowest point, in the Wadden Sea it splits into the Robbengat and Vogelzwin (south side) and the Kolk and Keteldiep (north side).
