Groningen Van Starkenborgkanaal with the Woonschepenhaven
The Van Starkenborghkanaal is a canal in Groningen that connects the Prinses Margrietkanaal with the Eemskanaal. The canal was constructed in the 1930s as the major shipping canal from Lemmer to Groningen, it was put into use in 1938, the lock (in the centre of the image) is the Oostersluis.
