Amsterdam Bijlmermeer, The Bijlmermeer district was renovated in the 1990s and 2000s, many of the characteristic honeycomb flats were demolished and replaced by single-family dwellings. The remaining flats, Gooioord, Groeneveen, Grubbehoeve, Kikkenstein, Kleiburg and Kruitberg, are now protected cityscapes and form the Bijlmer Museum.
